Iceland Wedding Photographer - Jökulsarlón Honeymoon
J+S had a beautiful wedding in England with their friends and family. But they also wanted to do something different to celebrate their marriage. So on their honeymoon in Iceland they booked a full day wedding photo adventure and travelled around Iceland with us.
We had an amazing time exploring the south coast together and stopped for photos at some of the most beauitful landscapes in south Iceland. We met up with J+S in the early morning at one of our favorite spots within Þingvellir National Park which is located on The Golden Circle. Þingvellir National Park is so beautiful and it has a special place in our hearts as this is where we had our own wedding ceremony, surrounded by our closest family and friends. It also holds both a great historical and geographical significance for Iceland. But, the biggest reason why we love doing wedding photography at Þingvellir National Park is probably because of the secret and secluded areas that we have found, away from other tourists. It just feels so peaceful every time we visit.
From Þingvellir National Park we continued down towards the south coast, which also happens to be the most popular part of Iceland. We stopped at so many gorgeous scenic locations, including Skogafoss waterfall at Skogar, a beautiful spot with Icelandic horses, a purple lupine field with blooming purple flowers as far as you could see, Dyrholaey cliff with its incredible 360° views of the ocean, black sand beaches, mountain ranges and glaciers and of course Reynisfjara, black beach. Lastly, we worked our way over to Jokulsarlon (glacier lagoon) where we ended their honeymoon photo session around sunset.
We are so stoked on the results and we hope that you enjoy scrolling through this little preview from their photo adventure in Iceland.
